The Cove Wedding open day was recently held over two days on the weekend of the 3rd & 4th August, as part of the South Coast Wedding Fair, Wedding Trail.
Our guests, couples, those dreaming, the ones planning and the curious came and experienced the magic of what a wedding at The Cove could look and feel like. With our chilled out coastal vibes and whimsical bush and beach back drops, they seen and felt it all - from sand in their toes, sea breeze through their hair, sun kissing their skin, the sound track of native animals and waves crashing, with the fire pits roaring, sun and stars shining. There was live music, food, and onsite wedding vendors sharing their creative talents, talking all things YOUR vision for YOUR magical moment. Collectively we created an epic weekend of wedding goodness with ceremony and reception set ups and soo much more!
Creative Genius and style expert Monica from Hoorah Events was on site styling the Wedding Marque and showcasing why she is known as one of the BEST around in the Wedding and Events industry.

Tell us a little about Hoorah Events
We are an event styling company who are lucky to call the South Coast of NSW home. We love designing and creating amazing spaces, epic and inspiring events and killer parties, all jam packed with style….because it's what excites us and fuels our creative souls while giving our logistic brains a work out….what more could we want for?! Owner and Creative Director, Monica Willis, has over 15 years experience styling for magazines, music videos, film and photo shoots in New York. She is a creative powerhouse and loves creating great spaces for unforgettable events. Along with her creativity and expert knowledge, she brings an impeccable sense of style, infectious energy and an inspired approach to all weddings. We are super “old school” and love to sit down with our clients so we can dream big about their amazing day. We look at what inspires our clients, take all those Pinterest boards and bring them into a cohesive vision, that is above and beyond what they imagined, tells a story about how they got to this point whilst most importantly creating a great space to have a killer party in. Hoorah Events offers custom design styling services including style consultation, design and décor services, floral styling, stationery design, prop hire, event planning and on-the-day coordination…..everything you need to create some serious "HOO-RAH!"
Tell us about your vision and style inspo behind your set up at The Cove
We created a Boho Luxe dining experience with a mixture of earthy textures, gold highlights and romantic dusty pink and coral tones.The rattan shades, hanging festoons and fairy lights all helped create a wildly magical space for an unforgettable night of absolute JOY!
What is it that you love about The Cove and why you recommend it for Weddings?
The Cove is the ultimate destination wedding venue nestled in the breathtaking Booderee National Park and feels like you have arrived at your own private hideaway.There is so much to immerse yourself in, the nature, the wildlife, the private beach, the bush, the uber stylish accommodation, the Glamping and the beautifully designed outdoor spaces throughout provide everything and more…its completely BEYOND anything else that is available on the South Coast. The best thing about The Cove is that it can accommodate your entire wedding, so you can enjoy the entire weekend with your guests and create a truly memorable wedding weekend.
What is the process for those who would like to share their vision with you or seek your creative skills, for their Wedding or event?
We completely understand that working on a big event can be overwhelming but FEAR NOT - its our jam and we will go above and beyond to make this experience a creative adventure that is stress free and most importantly fun! We begin with an initial pow wow via phone, in person or video chat to ensure we understand what your vision is for your day: the look; the feel; the style and the colour... we are big believers in the mantra…your day…your way! From there we will create a custom package and itemised estimate for you to peruse that includes all the key essentials and styling details needed to design a wedding or event that no one will forget. If you are keen to join us on this adventure we take a booking deposit and from there we start creating the styling concepts, building any cute pieces, sourcing styling elements and props needed, meeting other vendors involved and a site visit with the couple to go through all the details for the day. Along the way we learn so much about the couples individual love story and that is what we aim to reflect in our styling…nothing beats the feeling when you nail it for your couple and their faces light up when they enter the space you have created for them.
