Whale Watching From May - November each year, Jervis Bay is a well known hot spot for whale watching. The calm waters of the bay offer whales (especially mother and calf) a safe place to rest and play during migration.
Dolphin & Scenic Cruise' ( all year round, with sometimes spotting seals and penguins! )
We have two local business' who provide these incredible experiences, showcasing our stunning white sand beaches of Jervis Bay, coast line surrounding and Booderee National Park from the waters view. Jervis Bay is also home to one of Australia's largest bottle nosed dolphin population, with frequenting pods the migrate up and down the coast ( including the false killer whales, who have been known to visit the Bay.

Take a hike through Booderee National Park, with some of Australia's best walking tracks, it's a scenic experience you'll never forget. From cliff rocks, Australian bush trails, rain forest like tracks, sea cliffs, white sand beaches and an abundance of formations, wild life and historic light houses - it's a breath taking experience you wont regret.
Grab some fire wood and make the most of the cooler months and our fire pits by sitting around the flames, as you soak in the fairy lights, night sky and warm your heart and soul. There really is nothing better than a few laughs, a tall tale, a guitar, a song and some hot drinks that'll leave you with those fuzzy warm feeling as you look back and reminisce on this time around the fire.

Meet the resident Roo's when you stay at The Cove . The cove Jervis Bay is nestled between the inlet and Booderee National Park. If you want to get out of your cosy cabin or cottage for the day then check out our local cinema - Huskisson Pictures . It is conveniently located in the hub of the bay, Huskisson. Showing all the new release movies, a shop for all your popcorn, choc top and lollie needs. Husky Pictures is worth a visit, just to see this beautifully restored building, that was originally constructed in 1913 and has been showing movies since the 1950s! It also the winner of best commercial garden in both local and district competitions.

A Winter sunrise is a MUST. Set your alarm and wake up before the rest of the world, to greet the Sun. The air is crisp, the sea breeze kisses your cheeks and mother earth puts of her best show when she paints the sky in tones of orange, reds, pinks and purples. There will be the soundtrack of the kookaburras and cockatoos, with kangaroos often joining in on the show and if you're one of the lucky ones, the dolphins come too.
Jervis Bay is home of some of Australia's most scenic landscapes, natural formations and worlds wonders. The Cove is a secret hideaway tucked into the Booderee National Park and surrounded by the incredible turquoise waters of Jervis Bay. With the surf on one side and the calm waters of Sussex Inlet on other, this really is Paradise. Come here to fish, surf, adventure, say “I do” or hand feed a roo, take part in a retreat, conference or event – its Paradise however your time is Spent . After a beautiful 13 kilometre drive through the rainforests of Booderee (Jervis Bay) National Park you arrive at Paradise - The Cove. The sound of the ocean replaces the noise of traffic, native wildlife abounds as kangaroos hop through the grounds and native parrots skim through trees, the backdrop is of forest not buildings. While The Cove can be used as a base to explore the historic surrounding districts, its relaxed atmosphere and tranquil beachfront location surrounded by Booderee National park lead most guests to relax and enjoy the simple pleasures of swimming, bushwalking, boating, reading and in the evening meeting fellow guests at the central barbecue facilities. Put simply, just relaxing! All within an easy drive!
We offer 1, 2 & 3 bedroom self contained holiday cabins as well as a large house for bigger groups. There are 15 cabins in total, plus the large house. Our eco cabins, cottages and units are all fully equipped with linen, bath towels, cutlery and crockery and all open onto shaded decks, most with views over landscaped grounds. Accommodation is self catering and facilities include a central BBQ area and children's playground as well as direct beach access and boat ramp. Individual lodging is available for as few as two people and as many as sixteen.
Fancy doing something a little bit different? Come to The Cove and GLAMP! - Stay in a gorgeous canvas (and yes, waterproof!) bell tent already pitched and ready and waiting for you. Furnished with a beautiful king size bed, Pony Ride cushions, an outdoor table and two deck chairs, a daybed (can be used as an extra bed) and some cute little touches. The glamping tents have a communal bathroom of three showers, three toilets and one luxe bath under the stars (but private) which is shared by all the tents, shampoo, conditioner, body wash is included. There is an outdoor chill out space with a communal table and chairs, and a BBQ and camp kitchen with microwave, kettle, cups, plates, cutlery, chopping boards and knives etc.
